ITCrop Consulting ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, itcropconsulting.com, and to our recruitment services.

From tech professionals
- Contact details: name, email, phone, location
- Your resume and career details: work history, skills, education, certifications
- Job preferences: salary expectations, notice period, work mode, preferred locations
- Profile links you share, such as LinkedIn or GitHub
- Notes from conversations, interview feedback, and skill test results
- Reference and background check results, only with your consent
From employers
- Business contact details for the people we work with
- Role details, hiring requirements, and feedback on candidates
From website visitors
- Information you submit through forms or our newsletter
- Technical data such as browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, only if you accept analytics cookies
How we use it
- To match candidates with suitable roles and present them to employers, with the candidate's permission
- To respond to your enquiries and provide our services
- To manage contracts, payroll, and compliance for contractors
- To send newsletters, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time

Legal basis
We process personal data based on your consent, to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests in running a recruitment business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Who we share it with
- Employers: we share a candidate's profile only after the candidate agrees to be put forward for that specific role.
- Service providers: such as our applicant tracking system, CRM, email, cloud hosting, and background check partners. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
- Authorities: where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Because we work across India and USA, your data may be transferred between countries. When it is, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate data for RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 3 years from our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Employer and contract records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your data, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or nominate someone to exercise your rights. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined in those laws.

Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and staff training to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we also have a process for responding to and reporting any breach.
Recruitment scams
We never ask candidates for money. If someone contacts you claiming to be from ITCrop Consulting and asks for payment, please report it to us right away.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
